You can find countless dating website on internet. You can join some of them freely and make some online friends, chat with them or date with them for free. Find some good dating or chatting sites and become a member there, search for friends who has common interests and chat with them.

Watch a comic movie

Animated Comic movies are best way of beating the boredom. You really enjoy watching them and get refreshed. Buy some Disney Movies on DVD and enjoy watching them whenever you need some refreshment. Comic movies are great entertainers which will make you to forget all your worries as well.

Go for a walk

If outside weather if pleasant, go for a short walk. Go to the places you have not gone before or you visited long before. Walk to your friend’s house if it’s nearby and have a chat with them. This is what I usually do when I get bored. It is not only refreshes your mood but also improves your social quotient.

Read a book

If you are interested in reading books, get some good books from a nearest book store and read them whenever you feel bored. Prefer some novels and thrillers which can keep you in suspense till you finish the story. You can even consider buying an Amazon Kindle ebook reader, in which you can download millions of books through wireless network at free of cost.

Scan your photo album

Take your family album and dig in to your sweet memories, definitely you feel refreshed. Get a digital key chain photo album which can store up to 50 images and keep that with you, so you can scan it whenever you need a refreshment.

Listen to music

This is one of the best thing to do when you are bored. Buy an Ipod or music player and store good collections of melodies. You can even listen to music while doing other stuff. I feel this is the most preferred thing to do when bored for many people.

Clean your home

Tidy up your home, leaving room. Trash unwanted things; keep useful things well organized and easy to reach when required. Get some good wall papers and paste them on walls. If you have a garden or yard, spend some time to water your plants and clean the garden.

Workout for a while

Join a nearby gym or yoga center or get a yoga starter kit and learn to do some simple workouts. This not only keeps you away from boredom but also helps to maintain your fitness. You can find lots of fitness training DVD which you can watch and practice routine workout.

Play a video game

You will forget everything when you start playing a good video game. Get some hot video games and start playing. You can find some hot selling video games available online at cheap price. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is my favorite video game; I forget time when I sit for playing it.

Paint or Write a Poem

You may or may not be good in paining or writing poems, but take a pen and paper, scratch whatever you want. Take a comic book and try to copy the sketches and paint them. Keep a notebook for your painting works or get some good quality papers.
